What is Organic fertilizer?

Organic fertilizers are the residue of natural sources, the living microorganism, bacteria, fungi or biological process is broken down the nutrients in agriculture byproducts, manure, kitchen waste, and many more.

Organic Fertilizer Jeevamrut Preparation:- 

This is the simple and step by step method for the preparation of organic fertilizer Jeevamrut
  1. Take 100 liters of water in the barrel.
  2. Add 10 kg Indian/Desi Breed Cow Dung and stir well for 5 minutes.
  3. 5 liters to 8 liters of Indian/Desi Breed Cow urine, and stir well.
  4. 1 kg black jaggery (used for winemaking), then stir the solution for 5 minutes.
  5. 1 kg Gram Flour (Besan), and stir well for 5 minutes.
  6. 1 kg Soil taken from the roots of Banyan Tree.
  7. Generally, this soil is free from chemical fertilizers.
  8.  Then stir the solution for 15 minutes.
  9. Add another 100 liters of water in it and stir well.
  10. The above ingredients should be stored in a cool place and away from sunlight for 6-7 days.
  11. The mixture needs to be stirred a couple of times (10 mins every time) in a day.
Jeevamrut has a very foul smell. Also, it is difficult to handle liquid fertilizer with a shelf life of 10-12 days.

The quality of soil will increase with the use of Jeevamrit. One gram of Jeevamrut contains more than 700 million microorganisms. They prepare food for the plants from raw nutrients. The method of Jeevamrut preparation is simple, economical, and effective than composts and vermicompost.

Harmful effects of chemical fertilizers:-

Organic Fertilizer Jeevamrut Precautions:-

  1. Use only the Indian breed cows dung and urine as nutrient values found in Indian breed cows is much higher than the hybrid ones.
  2. The mixture needs to be stirred otherwise fungi is developed.
  3. As organic fertilizer Jeevamrut is in a liquid state it isn't as easy to handle.
  4. Jeevamrut has a foul smell and shelf life of 10-12 days.
  5. Mulching along with the Jeevamrut application, help the earthworms to work in the soil till the uppermost layer bringing more porosity and minerals till the surface.

Jeevamrut uses and Application:-


  1. For a spray of liquid Organic Fertilizer Jeevamrut. Apply 5 – 10 % in water.
  2. For soil, use 100-200 liters per acre during irrigation.
  3. According to the growth of the crop use it once at an interval of 15-30 days.
  4. Jeevamrut Liquid Organic Fertilizer is for vegetable, indoor plants, and agriculture farms. 

Ghanjeevamrut


The use of Ghanjeevamrut increases the production efficiency of the field. Ghanjeevamrut is dry manure that can be given at the time of sowing. 

Ghanjeevamrut Preparation

To make it 100 kg cow dung, 100 grams of farm soil, one-kilogram jaggery, one-kilogram gram flour, ten liters of cow urine, mix all these things. Spread this manure in the shade for 48-50 hours and cover it with jute sack. This compost can be used for 6 months. 

Amrutpani organic liquid fertilizer

  1. Combine a half a liter of honey and one liter of ghee and stir it well.
  2. Add and stir a handful of soil under the Banyan tree.
  3. Mix 3 liters of cow urine and 3 kg of cow dung in it and mix well.
  4. Now add this mixture in 10 to 20 liters of water. 
  5. Your Amrutpani liquid organic fertilizer is ready to use. 
  6. Use Amrutpani when planting seedlings or when seedlings are ready or if seedlings are drying.
  7. Amrutpani is more effective than organic fertilizer jeevamrut.
  8. If Amrutpani is used and seedlings did not get water for 21 days they will sustain.

  10. The maximum cost is Rs.1000 / - per acre if we use homemade organic fertilizer.

How to collect cow urine?


If you want to get cow's urine, you have to get up at five o'clock in the morning. To do this, the children of some poor budding agricultural laborers can be selected. 
If we give the task of collecting cow urine to the children who have cows at home. They will get up at 5 in the morning and collect cow urine in the hope of getting the money.

30 acres of land can be farmed using one cow dung - cow urine. There is no need to use vermicompost prepared in the field. 
However, the crops are good with the help of homemade organic fertilizer. The yield of the fruit is plentiful and all the fruits are of the same size. There is no disease on the crop.
Jeevamrut and Amrutpani are the best homemade organic fertilizer for vegetable. It is not known whether there are thirty-three crore gods in the stomach of a native cow, but there are infinite crores of useful bacteria in the stomach of a cow. 
These same bacteria help the plants to grow crops. But foreign or Jersey cow dung cow urine will not work for this. 

Bijamrita Seed Treatment 

Beejamrutha is used for treating seeds and also effective in young roots protection. The fungus, soil-borne, and seed-borne diseases commonly affect plant growth.
Bijamrita has similar ingredients as organic fertilizer jeevamrut- Take 10 liters of water, 3 kg of Indian cow dung, 3 liters of local cow urine, and 30-gram lime & handful soil of the farm.

Bijamrita Preparation Method 

  1. 3 kg Indian cow dung put in cloth and seal it by rope.
  2. This sealed cloth is hung in the 10-liter water for 12 hours.
  3. Add 30 gm lime in one-liter water and let it stable for 12 hours.
  4. Now stir and squeeze this sealed cloth of the cow dung in that water to accumulate all essence of cow dung in that water.
  5. Add a soil of farm in the solution and stir it well.
  6. Add 3-liter Indian cow urine and limewater and stir it well.

 Bijamrita Application:


Use this Bijamrita for the treatment of any crop as a seed. Cover the seed; mix them with Bijamrita by hands and dry to use for sowing.
